Chakrasamvara is a principal yidam of the Highest Yoga Tantra; his mandala maps the deity's palace and retinue for visualisation practice. This thangka shows a large circular mandala with a square palace, ringed by lotus, vajra and flame bands, against a turquoise ground; lineage figures fill the top row and dark blue wrathful protectors stand along the bottom. It is framed behind a burgundy mat. Size 76 × 100 cm.
