Padmasambhava Thangka
CHF 750
Availability on request — pieces may have been sold since listing.
Padmasambhava, Guru Rinpoche, is honoured as the master who brought tantric Buddhism to Tibet in the 8th century. This thangka is painted almost entirely in gold tones with fine red line work; the figures are delicate and, in the photo, the many small deities and assemblies arranged across the surface are only faintly distinguishable. It is framed behind a dark aubergine mat. Size 76 × 100 cm.
