Vajrabhairava ("Bajra Bhirve" in the original listing) is a wrathful meditational deity of Tibetan Buddhism, closely related to Yamantaka, the conqueror of death. In this antique figure the multi-armed deity, with a stacked crown of heads, sits on a mount described in the caption as a sheep; the animal's head and curled tail appear at the base. Polychrome traces remain on the surface. The figure measures 22 cm.
